Safety Data Sheet Specialist

As a Safety Data Sheet Specialist in our Product Stewardship department, you’ll be responsible for authoring, updating, and managing European Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels, along with related activities such as UFI/PCN notifications and C&L registrations. Your primary focus will be ensuring compliance with European chemical regulations (REACH/CLP) by maintaining accurate and up-to-date safety data sheets, including dangerous goods classification, and handling all related documentation updates, storage, and archiving.

Working in an international, English-speaking team environment, you’ll need a higher professional (HBO) degree in Chemistry or related science, at least one year of experience authoring and managing Safety Data Sheets, and solid knowledge of EU-REACH and CLP regulations. You should combine scientific accuracy with clear communication skills, work precisely under pressure, and be fluent in both Dutch and English (German is a plus). Experience with REACH-IT/IUCLID and Dangerous Goods regulations is advantageous.
